opinion where to implement it, but would be interested in the implications of
what exactly this would mean (integration in the HCatalog layer). Any pointers?
Right, [~owen.omalley], thanks for pointing out HIVE-5728 and no, I was not
aware of it. I think this could indeed be part of the solution, indeed. Are
there any details available re the timeline?
