So the effect is essentially that shims optionally depend on hadoop but ql
which depends on shims would not have hadoop in its classpath while compiling.
Wouldn't this cause a compilation failure because for e.g. the Configuration
class would no longer be available in the classpath? Sorry if I am missing
something.
