Hi,
Sorry, I should have been more clear. The comment I left was meant for other
Hive committers. Long story short there is a lot of context regarding teradata
+ the other UDF that is not public.
Therefore when implementing UDFs based on a commercial system like Oracle, we
should do some work to ensure the udf name and functionality are not Oracle IP
before committing this change.
