ORC evaluates predicate expressions to select row groups that satisfy predicate
condition. There can be exceptions (mostly ClassCastException) when data types
of predicate constant and min/max values are different.
To avoid this patch catches any such exception and provides a default behaviour
i.e; selecting the row group.
