[~csun], [~xuefuz], I am going to continue working on smb patch. As part of
that, I also wanted to have a fix for auto_sortmerge_join_16 which I believe is
non-deterministic. See HIVE-8601. It may make sense to commit that first and
merge it back, if that patch makes sense, what do you guys think?
