a secondary issue -- errors during "make install":

Installing configuration files
/bin/sh: ldap.conf: No such file or directory
/bin/sh: proxy.conf: No such file or directory
/bin/sh: ssl.conf: No such file or directory
chmod: /home/trawick/apacheinst/conf/ssl.conf: No such file or directory
