Hello Guenter, I had just some tests with Jess, and now I am able to build a working mod_ldap for 2.0.49
It is in fact a problem, depending which MS SDK you use. With the old SDK I used previously (Whistler Beta1 March 2001) the mod_ldap stuff crashes. I have then rebuilt it with the MS SDK Spring 2003 Februar 2003 and now the LDAP authentication works fine. I have the Netscape C5 SDK available on my maschine too, but so far I have not found/seen a way to build apache 2 with the Netscape LDAP sdk.
