We'll be building 2.0.53 binaries shortly and I'm interested in this
patch whether it made it into 2.0.53 or not.
I think you are talking about:
   *) util_ldap: Add the directive LDAPConnectionTimeout to control
      the socket timeout value when binding to an LDAP server

Since it only received one vote, I couldn't include it in 2.0.53.  And, I 
certainly don't consider it a showstopper.  -- justin
