I've got back to reviewing Chris's substantial fixes to mod_dbd in
trunk,
and I'm prepared to give it my +1. The alternative is to apply simpler
fixes by Bojan and others.
On the plus side, Chris's work fixes some known (and hard) issues
with mod_dbd,
and feedback has been positive. Against it is the complexity.
AFAICS we still have the potential issue in the /trunk/ code where a
connection
goes stale and prepared statements need to be recreated. I have a
proposal
for that, but it would be good to sync trunk with 2.2 first.
