Hello all,

I am trying to build Apache 2.2.6 for Windows (I'm using Windows XP Pro) with IPv6 support. In order to enable IPv6 support, I edited the apr.hw file under \srclib\apr\include and changed APR_HAVE_IPV6 to 1 at line 220.

It all goes well, but the service is not getting started when I try to run httpd.exe from the command line. The following messages are being written to the error log:

[Tue Mar 25 10:38:19 2008] [notice] Apache/2.2.6 (Win32) configured -- resuming normal operations
[Tue Mar 25 10:38:19 2008] [notice] Server built: Mar 24 2008 16:55:41

[Tue Mar 25 10:38:19 2008] [notice] Child 3320: Child process is running
[Tue Mar 25 10:38:19 2008] [crit] (OS 109)O pipe foi finalizado. : setup_inherited_listeners: Unable to read socket data from parent [Tue Mar 25 10:38:20 2008] [crit] Parent: child process exited with status 3 -- Aborting.

If I build Apache without IPv6 support, it works fine.

Am I missing something here?

Thanks,
