Apologies, I didn't realize that forks would spam the list as well. :( There will be a few more errors before the commit which turns off e-mails gets through and/or I get lucky and the thing passes.
Looks like we can use a conditional to disable notifications by default for forks, I'll try adjusting it in trunk.
