Operators in most parts of the world are in "embargo mode", and don't
typically come out of it until after second week of January.
embargo mode: admins and engineers responsible for networking and server
operations do not touch anything (unless critical failure or
exploitation) on any Friday, and from 2 weeks before Christmas until
after the second week in January, this generally applies in Enterprise,
ISP's, Telco Carriers, ASP, MSP's and other Hosting services.
