Hi Eric, I wanted to follow up on my previous message. We had reached out to the Apache Kafka community about adding s390x to its GitHub Actions. However, the community has concerns around the permissions required for third-party GitHub App.
Given this challenge, is there any interest by community in adding s390x runners to Github Actions? Setting up self-hosted s390x runners is straightforward, you can find the steps to set up s390x runners here: https://github.com/IBM/action-runner-image-pz?tab=readme-ov-file#usage Please let us know your thoughts or if you’d like further details on the setup process.
