There is some suggestion from ASF policy at https://www.apache.org/legal/generative-tooling.html I've used "Co-Authored-By:" since Claude writes that and Github parses it by treating the indicated author as a sort of co-committer. So I just followed that kinda blindly so far. Our internal guidance is that we should indicate somehow in the contribution when a coding assistant has been used, but to follow upstream rules. I'm not sure if the new ASF Responsible AI Initiative will give us any extra guidance on what's appropriate here. Regards, Joe
