Inline TypeHandler support

About a year ago there was talk of adding support for specifying type handlers
inline. This would solve the problem of having to create a parameter map for
inserts/updates if any of the parameters used type handlers. Was this feature
ever implemented. I know as of 2.0.7 this feature is not supported.
