Hi Y'all It's been a while but I'm trying to make some progress on allowing for Parquet Manifests.
TL; DR https://github.com/apache/iceberg/pull/15241 is raised to deprecate a family of methods from the base Snapshot Class which read manifests without passing through a specByID map. This has a few production code implications but is essentially just a swap out for a version that does pass through specById. Read the PR for more info. This is my heads up for anyone who has strong feelings about keeping the old methods but I think we should drop them.
