Hi everyone, Following up on the discussion [1], I’d like to start the Iceberg-side vote to move the `iceberg-datafusion` integration from `apache/iceberg-rust` to `apache/datafusion-iceberg`, under the Apache DataFusion project.
I think this is a good move for both communities. It will make it easier for contributors familiar with DataFusion to maintain and improve the integration, while keeping the project under Apache governance. Thanks Gabriel for putting together the PR to port the code and its history [2]. The corresponding vote is already underway on the DataFusion dev list [3].
