That is why I asked about the version bump. It looks like something that should be discussed on the dev mailing list. I have other higher priorities than chat about this contribution by email about a repo that has been dormant for a long time. But I am happy to make any revisions requested. I have tried to address all the PR review issues and have reverted the version bump.
