Hi, I finished work on https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IGNITE-929, it is merged into master.
We changed behaviour of IgniteCache.close - now it just closes cache instance and does not destroy cache on the whole cluster. To destroy cache method IgniteCache.destroy should be used.
