**IGNITE-752: Speed up failure detection*
Start day: 07/01/2015 (one day), 07/15/2015 - now
Today:
- applied all the changes after the first review round;
- added new tests;
- fixed test failures on TC;
- one more review round, decided to perform additional improvements (TBD
tomorrow);
- asked Ilya to perform performance benchmarking.
Left:
- make connection check message serializable instead of extending
TcpDiscoveryAbstractMessage. It will let to preserve amount of data that
is sent across nodes;
- remove connection check property, calculate connection check frequency
automatically;
- one more TC run, one more review with Yakov;
- checking performance results.
Deadline: depends on review/TC/performance (hope to merge by the end of
the week).
