Patch Set 1: Maybe you have a stale version of functional_parquet.complextypestbl, which is used to generate nested_resolution_by_name_test? Somehow the 'g' field was missing (https://github.com/cloudera/Impala/commit/6f3009ccdf1ec9c4872984e32b94ad7c58f9f2e4).
