Ingo,
It worked.
The dmake created the bi-lingual language pack (Pavel did it). We installed the product (m84) and then the language pack. Then we changed languages, closed everything (including quickstart) and when we started again it was in Khmer.
Would there be a way to:
- Make the OOo installer to be directly bi-lingual, without having to install the language pack (make only one installation).
- Make Khmer the default language for the package (not for the installer).
Thanks,
Javier

Hi Javier,
the language of the installation is always identical with the language of the product. If you cannot fix the problems with the Khmer language in the installation, you can create a bilingual installation set, in english and khmer. In instsetoo_native/util you can make a:
dmake ooolanguagepack_en-US_km
Then you can select english as installation language. But of course it would be better to resolve the Khmer installation problems.

Ingo,
Would not translating the Windows installer (leave it in English) be enough for solving this problem? Is there a place where the installation language is specified?
Thanks,
Javier

Hi,
We just completed localisation of m81 to Khmer language (Cambodia, specific script, iso-code km).
When I try to install on Windows XP, I get:
The language of this installation package is not admitted by the system (or something like this, I get it in Spanish).
This probably refers to the fact that Khmer is not a language recognised by Windows (even if it can display the script). Usually for Keyboards we have to use a different language, and make believe it is Khmer
Does anybody know if there is a way around it? Or a way of having the Windows installler in English?
Thanks,
Javier
