Hi RM Jialin, I think that when you update the website after the vote passed, please REMIND users backup their 0.8.* data file before they start an online upgrade.
Though in 0.9, we have introduced a background process to upgrade data files to the latest format, it may bring a irreversible change of the data file. As this is the first time we introduce this feature, I have no enough confidence about that... So, a backup is needed at least now. Anyway, the more careful, the better.
