Nghia Le commented on IOTDB-518: -------------------------------- Hi, I am Nghia and I would like to work on this as in the framework of GSoC 2020. Even though I am new to IoTDB, I have been contributing to Apache MiNiFi/NiFi for almost one year (though mainly C++ part, but I understand the technology). One of the main difficulties when trying to learn IoTDB is that some of the documents are available in Chinese only (System Design docs). Thus, I would like to hear some advices to: * Familiarise myself with the project. * Success with GSoC application, since I just heard about it recently, so I am a bit lack of understanding about the process. Thank you and hope to see your response soon! > Apache IoTDB integration with MiNiFI/NiFi > ----------------------------------------- > > Key: IOTDB-518 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IOTDB-518 > Project: Apache IoTDB > Issue Type: Wish > Components: Others > Reporter: Xiangdong Huang > Priority: Major > Labels: IoTDB, gsoc2020, mentor > > IoTDB is a database for storing time series data. > MiNiFI is a data flow engine to transfer data from A to B, e.g., from PLC4X > to IoTDB. > This proposal is for integration IoTDB with MiNiFi. > * let MiNiFi/NiFi to support writing data into IoTDB. > > Difficulty: major > mentors: -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.3.4#803005)
