Hi all,

Why not just use the regular party@ list? Or is it intentional to just meet
with iotdb folks? Apache is more than just one project and there are lots of
great people you could meet.

And with "business" I'd use a different name. "userstories" or something else.
Apache is a non profit charity. Actually "business" doesn't fit in that case.

> Hi,
>
> As there are more and more users using IoTDB and companies joining to
> release their IoTDB edition, I think we may need to provide more places for
> discussion.
>
> - [email protected]:
> This idea is derived from [email protected].
> As said by Rich Bowen, the purpose is to say things like "I'll be in Berlin
> in March and want to have a beer with old and new friends."
>
> We'd like to welcome all IoTDBers to have parties in different cities. If
> someone wants to find friends in any place in the world, just sends a
> message to [email protected]
>
> (For example, we get sponsorship from Timecho Ltd. to host a party in
> Beijing tonight and welcome all IoTDBers to join us, but there is no a
> suitable way to share the message.)
>
> - [email protected] or [email protected]
> This idea is derived from the situations that there are more and more users
> using IoTDB to serve applications or release TSDB based on IoTDB.
> I discussed with some of them and hope they to share their user stories and
> IoTDB derivative back to the community, maybe an individual mailing
list
> is more attractive for them as all Interested persons can pay attention
> about that.
>
> how do you think?
>
> Best,
