FYI. Since there is lot of development happening, through GSoC or otherwise, thought I would write this regarding my previous experience with GSoC. We would be using many libraries or codes available online to help our dev. We should consider the license of the same before using it in our code. The license of code has to be compatible with Apache License 2.0 if your project has to be released under Apache license. This should be one of the criteria before finalizing a library.
