Description: Unfortunately this is published API. therefore we need to
mark as deprecated and introduce a new AuditingService2 subinterface that
defines the fixed version of audit(...). If the implementation of the service
implements AuditingService2 rather than AuditingService, then call the new
method rather than the old.
