Hi Jukka,
I would also like to get JCR-257 into the 1.0 release. I'm mostly done
with the fix and only testing is left.
This is a fundamental problem with the query part and also partially
affects observation. Changes from JCR-141 not just broke the index split
up but also observation events from the version storage. Those events
all have an incorrect path. We did not notice it so far because there
are no test cases that check events generated from versioning operations.
regards
marcel

Hi,
The second candidate packages of the Jackrabbit 1.0 release can be found at:
http://people.apache.org/~jukka/jackrabbit/1.0-rc2/
See the RELEASE-NOTES.txt for more details about the release contents.
The key used to sign the releases can be found at:

Please take a look at the packages and let me know if you spot any problems.
The 1.0 release is currently blocked by the copyright header update
(JCR-356) and TLP migration (JCR-357), neither of which requires any
changes to the code. I will start the 1.0 release vote once these
blockers have been resolved and JSR 170 conformance checks passed. I
expect no problems with any of the remaining tasks, so the final
version submitted for the 1.0 release vote should contain just
cosmetic changes from this release candidate.
