Based on the discussion I've decided to cancel this vote as well and package the updated release instead as Apache Jackrabbit 1.2.1 to avoid confusion about the release contents. I'll start yet another release vote once I've figured out the required changes in Jira and retagged and packaged the release. I think I'll in any case keep the practice of creating unofficial -rcN candidate builds before releases with major changes to keep the amount of skipped version numbers to a minimum.
