hi with rev.590014 issue JCR-1169 (distribution of commons) is completed. the latest commit also includes changes made to jackrabbit-core in order to get rid of deprecated classes.
i refactored jackrabbit-core with care and focused on minimizing the number of lines changed. there may be room for improvement now, that changes are made... for those having uncommitted test-cases: please check if everything works as expected. thanks. for those working on sandbox projects: from what i have seen - jackrabbit-jcr-mapping (nodetype management) - jackrabbit-jcr-import-export-tool - jcrlog would need to be adjusted as well. the other contributions either rely on older version of jackrabbit-core (pre 1.4) or don't have a dependency to the core at all. angela
