I'm no maven expert, but attached is a maven archetype that generates a project
structure to compile and run the FirstHop sample, for those looking for such.
run like
mvn archetype:create -DarchetypeGroupId=org.apache.jackrabbit
-DarchetypeArtifactId=firsthop -DarchetypeVersion=1.0-SNAPSHOT
-DgroupId=your.group.id -DartifactId=your.artifact.id
