Description:
The ITs should be executed with the most important supported Maven versions.
As building the plugin requires a newer Maven version than it is supported at
run time, the core build and the ITs need to be decoupled.
An example for running integration tests separately (even in a dedicated job)
can be found at
https://github.com/apache/maven/blob/master/.github/workflows/maven.yml.
