Archetypes are a useful way to get projects started. Having them in sync with
tutorials is even more useful.
To this end:
1. Make the tutorials standalone from a Maven point of view - even if at a cost
of a small redundancy of configuration. This also helps newcomers.
2. Have a script that uses the Maven archetype:create-from-project to generate
an archetype from the tutorials and update the archetype source.
