There is currently no plan to allow scenarios in the same story to be executed concurrently, either in 3.x or in 4.x

The 4.0 is in beta and there is no definite planned release date as yet.

The documentation is available at http://jbehave.org/reference/preview

Ok,thanks for the update Mauro.will there be big change in
architecture if user want to see scenarios running in multi
    thread mode?

No, the granularity of the concurrent execution is at the
story level. The filters will simply avoid running some
scenarios in a given story. You cannot have two scenarios
in the same story running in two separate threads.

Thanks Mauro. Will keep it be mind your PS section opinion.
IF as a Jbehave user , I can run scenarios by having meta
filters rather than story then Can I run the scenarios in
Parallel mode (if they are independent of each other) like I
can do it for story?Pls advise.

You can use meta filters to execute individual scenarios:

PS: as already noted, it's bad etiquette to solicit an
answer on a open-source mailing list just a few hours
            after having posted it.

Please avoid doing it. People will answer when they can.

                Hi All,

Is it possible in Jbehave to run individual
scenarios rather a story file containing
                scenarios?Please advise.
