There's been further discussion of this on the mailing list and it is still not 
resolved for the reporting user.  The issue appears to be at least in part due 
to the user implementing a Proxy that does not implement HTTP Challenge 
Response correctly though I have yet to get a detailed HTTP trace for debugging.
