I have briefly tested Fuseki2 with this PR applied as a backend for our
software, Skosmos. I didn't find any problems. It seems to work for the basic
use case - repeated requests are served faster now. It is not quite as fast as
Varnish (which usually delivers cached responses in 1-3ms), but still a big
improvement over the previous situation.
I didn't look at effect on memory consumption or the cache eviction
mechanism.
+1 for merging.
