> Hi, I've been following this with great interest. Bringing native HTTP/2 support to JMeter would be fantastic. May I ask how the asynchronous/parallel execution of HTTP/2 samplers will be handled? Will there be a new native controller? > > Thanks. Thanks for your interest! HTTP/2 support uses the existing **HTTP Request** sampler; it doesn’t introduce a new controller. A sampler still runs synchronously from the test plan’s perspective, so a JMeter thread waits for its response before moving to the next sampler. The HTTP/2 client uses asynchronous I/O underneath and can multiplex requests that are already concurrent—for example, embedded-resource downloads when concurrent downloads are enabled—over one connection. It doesn’t make separate samplers run in parallel; that would be a separate feature. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
