I tried a few of them, bench_block_invocation.rb, bench_quicksort.rb (the latter needs ages to load the data with JRuby while MRI loads it in a fraction of a second. The test numbers itself are pretty close to MRI).
trunk is always slightly faster than 1.0.x. When turning off the JIT the performance drops significantly. Probably these results are as exepected, although the peformance gain of trunk over 1.0.x is pretty small (like 10%).
