Kristian: Can I put you in touch with the Sonatype guys? I think you may be better qualified to work with them to put together a comprehensive JRuby+RubyGems+Maven+Polyglot solution, and you've essentially already done a lot of the work we had only started planning.
I'd really like to be able to say there's a complete two-way RubyGems+Maven answer for 1.5, and full Polyglot Maven support real soon too.
