JRuby at least 1.5.3 does not handle CTRL-C
-------------------------------------------
Key: JRUBY-5587
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/JRUBY-5587
Project: JRuby
Issue Type: Wish
Components: Application Error
Affects Versions: JRuby 1.5.3
Environment: JRuby 1.5.3 for OpenVMS Itanium V8.3-1H1 servers.
See
http://vouters.dyndns.org/tima/OpenVMS-JRuby-libffi-jffi-Rebuilding_JRuby-1.5.3_on_OpenVMS_servers.html
to download the modified source code and rebuild JRuby.
Reporter: Philippe Vouters
Fix For: JRuby 1.5.3
As stated at URL
http://vouters.dyndns.org/tima/OpenVMS-Linux-Java-JRuby-JRuby-ported_to_OpenVMS_Itanium-Some_notes.html
in the TimerDiffusion.rb code, typing CTRL-C simply aborts the JVM running
JRuby. This ought to be the case if the Java code of JRuby does not implement a
Java shutdownHook method to intercept the CTRL-C.
