JRuby fills LDFLAGS with some pretty broken values on MacOS. This stops some
extensions from configuring correctly, since as a part of the config process,
test binaries fail to build.
Nothing that is currently in LDFLAGS is actually needed, and leaving it empty
seems to work fine.
