There are two things here. The jruby install took almost 3 hours, if not more. That is unacceptable dudes. This box has 4G memory and isn't that slow.
Second bug is more serious. The JVM cannot start, see: ERROR output (below). If you look after, you can see my JVM works fine on this PC.
Please advise, need I return to 1.6?
