Wildcard and prefix searches that contain an underscore, such as Page_* or snake_ca*, returned nothing, although Page* and the full name worked. The analyzer splits on underscores, so the index holds page and withunderscore for Page_WithUnderscore, while a wildcard term is not analyzed and looked for terms that do not exist. Wildcard and prefix terms that hold separators are now split on them and matched as adjacent tokens (a span near query), with the wildcard applied to the token it is in. A trailing separator, as in snake_*, only requires the tokens before it, so it also matches a plain snake. Terms without separators are handled as before. The index is not changed, so no reindex is needed. Tests: 3 new cases in SearchManagerTest. The two that use underscores fail without the change. The jspwiki-util, jspwiki-event and jspwiki-main suites pass. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
