Arturo Bernal commented on JSPWIKI-629:
---------------------------------------
Checked in the current code (upstream master) on a running instance (Tomcat
10.1). A heading written as !!!Analyse von OrbX2-Logfiles is rendered as an h2
element with an id of the form section-PageName-AnalyseVonOrbX2Logfiles and,
inside the element, a link with the class hashlink, the text # and the address
of that anchor. So the HTML that the renderer gives still has the hashlink
inside the heading, which is what the report describes for the HTML returned by
getPageHTML.
Limits: I read the HTML of the page view, which comes from the same renderer,
and I did not call the XML-RPC method, since the XML-RPC servlet is commented
out in the web.xml of the war by default. I also did not check what a client
sees without the style sheet of the template. Leaving the issue open; whether
the hashlink should be left out of the HTML for such clients is a decision for
the maintainers.

>
> Getting HTML source for wiki pages by calling XML-RPC "wiki.getPageHTML"
> results in all section headings ending with a hashlink.
> This is done in
> com.ecyrd.jspwiki.WikiEngine.textToHTML(WikiContext, String)
> e.g.
> !!!Analyse von OrbX2-Logfiles
> becomes
> <h2 id="section-OrbX2Logviewer-AnalyseVonOrbX2Logfiles">Analyse von
> OrbX2-Logfiles #section-OrbX2Logviewer-AnalyseVonOrbX2Logfiles # </h2>
