Hi Daniel,

I just upgraded jUDDI to JPA 2.0 (JUDDI-587 is fixed). jUDDI can use the native jpa module on wildfly now. The JBossAS7Up profile for the war has been updated accordingly.

Cheers,

Right - so can you ping me again next week if I have not yet
responded on my own? I'd like to fix this the right way :).

    Hi Kurt,

That was one of my drives to use JPA, because the official
    documentation states

            7.2.2.1. Hibernate and JBossWS-CXF

This profile is not yet scripted as there is an issue with
    Hibernate, see JUDDI-587.

So I have no guidelines to follow.

        Hi Daniel,

I only tested the jpa module on AS7, not wildfly just yet.
The only reason we are recommending jpa
is b/c of an issue with upgrading to hibernate 4 which is
JPA2.0 (and we are using JPA1.0):
        https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JUDDI-587

Let me see if I can address this so you can simply use
hibernate; that should make this process a lot easier. Give
me a few days and it'd be great if you can test it.

        Cheers,

        Hi guys,

I am doing what is told in this link -

http://juddi.apache.org/docs/3.2/juddi-guide/html_single/#_jbossas_7_x_jbosseap_6_x
        where it says "

This section describes how to deploy juddi to JBossAS 7,
        WildFly and JBossEAP 6

        "

I understand that I may need to download some jar libs of
JPA, but I would like to make it use what already exists in
        JBoss.
        Here is what I have

        -

C:\Java\AS\wildfly-8.1.0.Final\modules\system\layers\base\javax\persistence\api\main\hibernate-jpa-2.1-api-1.0.0.Final.jar
        -

C:\Java\AS\wildfly-8.1.0.Final\modules\system\layers\base\org\apache\openjpa\main\jipijapa-openjpa-1.0.1.Final.jar
        -

C:\Java\AS\wildfly-8.1.0.Final\modules\system\layers\base\org\jboss\as\jpa\main\wildfly-jpa-8.1.0.Final.jar

But even doing the 3 configurations for the modules I still
get an exception. And I am not deploying the WAR file
because I did not put the war file inside
standalone/deployments folder. I am just starting the Wildfly.
