[~edgefox] Thanks for the patch! I think it will be easier to review if we also
attach the server.log and controller.log for each of the following cases -
1. Logs during broker restart with no topics in the cluster
2. Logs during during topic creation
3. Logs during send/receive on a list of topics
4. Logs during leader failover
5. Logs during controller failover
