Kafka Serialzer for zOS Unix

Is there a solution for the Kafka Serializer for Mainframe?  I am
developing  process by which a mainframe file records are being sent to a
distributed Kafka Topic.  The initial implementation is working well.
However, when implementing the serializer functions, the process fails with
a SSL error.  Even when the JKS files have been updated with the proper
certificates.
