Thanks for the KIP. I would also support the deprecation with AK 4.3 to
send a clear signal to the community.
If there would be a strong negative reaction to the planned removal, and
some people would step up and want to maintain in inside the Kafka
project, we could still un-deprecate and keep the module.
But given the lack of feedback via regular channels, it seems the only
way to collect meaningful feedback will be the deprecation path.
