Hello everyone, 

I would like to start a discussion on KIP-1284 Introduce CloseOptions.DEFAULT 
for Kafka Streams

This proposal aims to introduce CloseOptions.DEFAULT to resolve semantic 
inconsistency 
in KafkaStreams shutdown behavior across protocols.
