Micheal,

We have one pending PR for KIP-1285 that we need to get in to get feature complete: https://github.com/apache/kafka/pull/21794

I think it's in overall good shape and expect it to get merge tomorrow.

Don't think there is a need to delay the release branch cut, as we can also cherry-pick to `4.3` branch. But wanted to give a heads up.

Hope there is no concerns about it.

Thanks,
  -Matthias

Hi Mickael,

I added KIP-1274 to the list with its jira for 4.3 (this is phased KIP).
The KIP was accepted before the KIP freeze deadline.

Thanks!

Haha, yes it's March not May.

The next milestone is feature freeze on March 18.

Hi,

We have now passed the KIP freeze deadline.
I have updated the release plan with the current list of KIPs.
If your KIP has been accepted before the deadline and is not in the
plan, please add it.

The next milestone is feature freeze on May 18.

Thanks,
Mickael

Hi Mikael,

I added KIP-1251 to the release plan. The implementation ticket was
already there but the KIP was not listed. The KIP was accepted
before
the KIP freeze, implementation is underway.

Cheers,
Lucas

Hi,

If the vote has passed, feel free to add it to the plan.
Note that it does not guarantee the KIP will be in the release,
you
still need to get the code merged before feature freeze.

Thanks,
Mickael

Hi Michael,

I would like to add KIP-1258 :

to
the release plan.
This has already been accepted. Is there anything else that is
needed to be
done?

Hello Mickael

I'd like to add KIP-1259 to the list:

It was already accepted.
Can I add it by myself, or only release maganer can update
this page?

Regards,

Hi,

In case you missed last week's reminder, KIP freeze for
4.3.0 is this
week.
So if you want a KIP to be considered for 4.3.0 it must
be accepted by
the end of the week.

Thanks,

Hi,

I'd like to volunteer to be the release manager

4.3.0 release.

If there are no objections, I'll start building
the release

4.2.0 will now miss January, but I think we
should still aim at
having
4.3.0 in May

Thanks,
